From Lincoln to Tesla and Back…
In October of 2018, I finally rid myself of my biggest financial mistake ever: A Tesla Model X. For 22 months, I tried to conduct my limo business with an over-priced, EV that was made for one-percenters. The experience taught me more about status symbols than I ever realized. I purchased the vehicle because I used to drive a lot and I love technology. I just wanted to merge these two things. I wasn’t trying to show off or impress anyone other that giving my clients a unique experience. Oh, wait, this is about the 2015 Lincoln Navigator, I will write more about this EV later.
The very next day after I sold the Model X, I bought this 2015 Lincoln Navigator. To some, it may have seemed like a fall from grace but I was so happy to be driving a vehicle that gave you around 500 miles of range out of a tank of gas, even if it was a gas guzzler. I was able to haul more people and more stuff. Plus, I really dig the ride elevation. There’s nothing like it when you’re trying to navigate through traffic – no pun intended 😉
Everything seemed to be going well for about 6 months, but then, bad things started happening. Eventually, I ended up spending thousands of dollars to fix this Lincoln. While many of the issues I’ve had with this SUV have been corrected with straigh-forward repairs, this particular misfire issue nearly put me in the insane asylum. Watch these videos if you’re having issues with your Ford Expedition or Lincoln Navigator. As a matter of fact, any vehicle with the 3.5L V6 Ecoboost engine will experience the same issues.
